Grab a Kleenex

If you're on facebook, you've probably seen this pop up a dozen times this week, but in case not, I'm sharing it here.

I think our military are amazing people, and each one deserves homecomings like this.

(And even if you don't hang out for the whole 10 minutes, hang in there until 1:40. The little girl is the best part of this!)

  1. Holy MOLY that was powerful. I'll be sniffling all afternoon...in a good way. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I made my husband watch it when he got home yesterday, (cruel I know) He started crying at the first shot too. My daughter watched it before going to work and she said there should be a disclaimer to not watch it if you have to go out of your house in five minutes!

  3. My husband just got out of the Air Force last week after ten years of service.

His unit left for Iraq three weeks ago and they are scheduled to be there for six months. Because he was getting out, he didn't go.

I watched this clip crying, so thankful my girls and I didn't have to go six months without our hero like these families had to.

  4. Oh my gosh I was holding out well until the little boy at 5:35. And again at 8:38 when the elderly man or woman in the background (white sweatshirt) walked away in tears.

All of our men and women in the military deserve such a wonderful homecoming.

    Thanks for posting.
